Young Me / Now Me

Young Me, Now Me is the brainchild of Ze Frank. Users duplicate a picture of themselves from when they were younger with the same pose, resulting in the current “me” by the child “me.”

Worth 1000 Words

I can’t remember the last time I saw a major magazine run a cover with absolutely no blurbs. Brilliant.

The Big 3-0.

Author Madeleine L’Engle once said “The great thing about getting older is that you don’t lose all the other ages you’ve been.” As I continue into another decade of my life today, I’ve been reflecting back on the tons of amazing memories I have had so far, and wanted to thank all of the the unbelievable people that have shared those memories with me.

Since I was young, my parents have always encouraged me to set goals. In commemoration of today, I thought it would be fun to share a snippet of the ever-growing list I started many years ago. The Best Advice I Ever Got

Fortune has a great article on accomplished people (such as the CEO’s of Google and Pepsi) talking about the advice that most influenced their lives. I like what Sam Palmisano, the chairman and CEO of IBM had to say. Falls right in line with one of my favorite books.

I’ve noticed that some of the most effective leaders don’t make themselves the center of attention. They are respectful. They listen. This is an appealing personal quality, but it’s also an effective leadership attribute. Their selflessness makes the people around them comfortable. People open up, speak up, contribute. They give those leaders their very best.

Clever Ad

This amusing “backwards” advertisement for an insurance company was recently seen on the back of buses in Amsterdam.

NYC designer Nicolas Feltron has become infamous for his incredibly well designed annual reports based around his life. Although these reports give a whole new meaning to obsessive compulsive, you’ve got to give it to this guy for his unbelievable documentation. Here are the 2005 and 2006 additions as well.
